Telecia Cooke, Owner/Administrator
One of Telecia's fondest memories as a young teenager is assisting her mother in the care of her grandfather, who had Alzheimer's disease. Her God-given mission and passion for the elderly began in those early years.
In 1990, Telecia graduated from Loma Linda University as a Registered Occupational Therapist. For the next 23 years, she worked as an OT in various settings in Northern and Southern California. A few of the organizations were Cedar Sini Medical Center, Parkview Community Hospital, Brockton Physical Therapy, Orthopedic Medical Group, and John Muir Medical Center.
In 2002, Telecia opened Copper Canyon Senior Care. She believes that quality care and safety are the most important factors in caring for the elderly. As the administrator, she oversees the care of the residents, supervises staff, coordinates doctor visits, interfaces with family members, and oversees the day-to-day operation of the care home.
Today she lives in the Copper Canyon Senior Care home, along with her husband and co-owner Bryan, and their three daughters.
